This past weekend we rounded up our little tribe and headed to the ocean! Cape Disappointment is a long drive for one night- but it does not live up to it's name- at all. You might not believe me when I say that we saw a Gray Whale, multitudes of dolphins, dozens of seals, and a sea otter. We didn't really believe it either. Car camping isn't really our normal outing, but with bringing the two mini Rich's along it worked out perfectly. Plenty of kids for Max to play with, and plenty of rocks and photography opportunities for RW. Plus- car camping always allows for the best food. Fajitas for dinner and scrambled egg and sausage burritos for breakfast. I'd like to see you backpack those in...
