Guye Peak {Wanderlust}

This little catch-up brings us up-to-date with adventures! You'll notice that there was a big gap in time of no wandering. This is because I sprained my ankle like a pro while running with Rich through the woods. This was the first trip I had done for over two months! ... and it hurt. real bad.
Was it worth it? Absolutely.
We lived here over night just below the summit of Guye Peak in Snoqualmie pass. Glorious views of Snoqualmie Peak, Chair Peak, and Kendall's Catwalk (A famous portion of the PCT). Mt. Rainier even made an appearance the next morning. When we woke up we shimmied our way to the top to scare our bones and give our bodies an adrenaline rush. Rich called a few areas of this climb an "express chute to Snoqualmie pass". If Daddio were there he would have said the cliffy summit gave him the "Heeby Jeebies!" It was definitely a dramatic dive to impending doom. So, naturally, we chose to go down the way we came and save the express chute for another time. (kidding).

... next time I'll bring my real camera so I can get some A+ pictures.
Cheers to the last adventure of summertime and a partially healed ankle!
